Lutheran Social Services provides emergency food and services program. Low income/homeless
individuals and families are encouraged to seek emergency and supportive services Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Emergency services include a food pantry, hygiene items, clothing closet and infant care items. Supportive services include rental assistance, employment support (NV State ID, health cards, TAM Cards and CAT bus passes), birth certificates for the homeless and Travelers Aid– P.A.T.H. Program (Police Assisting Travelers Home). Additionally, the program provides several seasonal services such as the Christmas gift program, backpacks for back-to-school and holiday food assistance.

Cancer Information Services is the foremost source for the latest and most accurate cancer

The Oncology Program at Sunrise Hospital is certified by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. Special components of the program are: a dedicated inpatient oncology patient care unit, pediatric oncology patient care unit, oncology certified RN caregivers, comprehensive IV infusion center, on site cancer registry, ACR accredited diagnostic imaging, Da Vinci System Robotic Surgeries and gamma knife. Future planned program enhancements are a GYN Oncology program and support groups.
